About SpaceTech Malaysia Association
SMA is Malaysia’s national industry association for space technology, serving as the strategic platform that unites government, industry, and academia in the advancement of the country’s space sector. Formally registered in 2023, SMA held its first Annual General Meeting in March 2025, marking a pivotal milestone in Malaysia’s space journey. We are committed to supporting national strategic initiatives such as the National Space Policy 2030 and the Malaysia Space Exploration 2030 (MSE2030) roadmap. Our leadership firmly believes that space is not just about exploration, but “an economic and national security imperative”, and we work closely with government to ensure Malaysia secures its place in the global space sector
